The Organisation

Home Matters Supporting People Ltd is a small, local family run business that has been for the past 25 years providing a range of housing options and day opportunities for people who need support to enable them to live in the community. We strive to deliver a person-centred, tailored yet flexible support service to each person thus encouraging independence and improving the life chances of adults at risk in the local community. We have homes for people with mental health, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We provide day opportunities for people with mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and physical difficulties.

We have also created a Community Interest Company(CIC) called Home Matters Dementia Support CIC, that supports local people living with dementia and their families. As a not-for-profit organisation, services are competitively priced and any surplus income that is generated is reinvested in development of the service for the benefit of users and their families within our local community.

Home Matters have developed their services to include a purpose built centre known as Home Matters Haven. The Haven provides a range of specialist services, workshops, groups, drop in café’s and therapeutic workshops. The Haven is the base of all our services and provides our office accommodation.
